Yakten Village

Located at a 10 km uphill drive from the new building area of Pakyong airport is Yakten village. Homestays as the only accommodation facilities present here, Yakten village can truly show you the daily happening life of hill villagers. Surrounded by lush green fields and decorated with Himalayan orchids. There are around 8 homestay facilities furnished with modern toilets and essentials, the village has seen an upward trend in incoming tourists in recent times with the homestay facilities being always occupied. The recently hosted Yakten Bojeytaar village ecotourism festival has given a push to the local tourism and since then the village has become an itinerary item for travelers.
