Singhik

About 4 km away from Mangan on the North Sikkim Highway lies the hamlet town of Singhik. The Singhik viewpoint arranged just on the wayside of Singhik gives an unseen view of Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Siniolchu alongside different ranges. The place comes with many short nature treks along with itself, the surrounding lush green hills with higher ridges provide the rewarding bird’s eye view of the converging point of River Teesta and River Kanaka at the foothills, which attracts many adventure travelers to come to Singhik.
The traditional Lepcha houses and ancient Singhik Monastery are also reached enjoying the beautiful trails trapped in nature. One can travel 15 km to visit the Dzongu and Tingchim village to dwell in the traditional lives of the Sikkim people.
