Culture and Community North Sikkim

The major inhabitants of North Sikkim are the people of Bhutia, Lepcha, and less Nepali communities. Lepcha communities are mainly concentrated in the Dzongu Areas whereas the Bhutia communities are seen in the Kabi-Tingda to Lachen-Lachung regions. The Nepali communities are found mixed up in the Phodong, Mangshila, and Mangan regions.
