The Autumn season in Sikkim is considered to be the perfect time for taking part in various adventure-based activities like hiking and trekking after the monsoons and just before the winters. The Autumn season is the time when your cherry blossoms are in full bloom in the state and you will be able to capture some of the enchanting views of nature.
The winter of North Sikkim is harsh with continuous snowfall and unbearable freezing temperatures which last from October to the month of February. The harsh conditions are also a reason why only true adventurers visit Sikkim in this time to indulge in snow-based activities. The snow capped mountain tops and frozen lakes become the certain backdrop of most pictures and it actually looks mesmerizing.
However out of all, if the best season is to be picked then it is bound to be the summer and the autumn time for travel to the hills of North Sikkim.
